Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the Tempoframe app (“Tempoframe”, “we”) collects, why, who processes it and the choices you have. Tempoframe is published by Mert Karayel, who is the data controller. Contact: mertkarayel94@hotmail.com.

What we collect

Account data. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your email address (Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide it), your name if the provider shares it, and a user ID. You can change the display name in the app.
Your content. The videos you choose to voice over, your scripts, your voice recordings, the voiceovers and subtitles we generate, the music you pick and the videos you export.
Purchases. Your subscription status and purchase history, received from Apple through RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.
Support reports. When you use “Report a problem”: the category and message you write, the app version, platform, operating system version, app language and, if you are signed in, your user ID.
Technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to run and secure the service.

We do not use advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, we do not use analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your data.

Why we use it

To create your voiceovers: analysing the video, generating speech, transcribing and aligning audio, translating or shortening scripts, and rendering the exported video.
To keep your projects and allowance tied to your account and to provide Tempoframe Pro.
To answer support requests and to prevent abuse of the service.

The legal bases are performing our contract with you, your explicit consent where the law requires it (including for sending your content to the AI providers below), and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Third-party AI and service providers

Tempoframe uses the following providers to run the service. Your content is shared with them only to produce your voiceover.

ElevenLabs (United States): speech generation, transcription and timing alignment of your script, recordings and video audio.
Google Cloud (European Union): Gemini on Vertex AI for translating and shortening scripts, and Cloud Run for video processing and rendering.
Supabase (Frankfurt, Germany): account, database and API hosting.
Cloudflare R2 (European Union): storage of uploaded and generated media.
RevenueCat (United States): subscription management.
Apple and Google: sign-in.

Some providers are outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent or rely on other lawful transfer mechanisms.

How long we keep it

Media on our servers (uploaded videos, recordings, generated audio and exports) is kept while your account exists and is deleted when your account is deleted. Your projects also stay on your device until you delete them.
Account and purchase data is kept while your account exists.
Support reports are kept for as long as needed to handle them.

Deleting your account

Open Profile → Delete account in the app. Your account and its data are deleted within 30 days and we email you when it is done. Signing in again before then cancels the request. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email mertkarayel94@hotmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Tempoframe is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
